r. Ori, a 4th grade teacher at Tri-City Elementary in Buffalo, Illinois contacted us recently as he was doing his annual unit on chocolate. He came across our website and asked if we would be interested in participating. Always up for something different, we asked what he had in mind. In the past, some other business had done a conference over the internet. We suggested we show our signature item, Buttercrunch, being made.
Both 4th grade classes and a few faculty members piled into the classroom for the live show on Thursday morning to watch our candymaker stir, pour, spread, and paint the buttercrunch. The candymaking was followed up by a question and answer session about life in the northeast. The presentation was conducted with a webcamera attached to a laptop on our side and was shown on a smart board in the classroom.
We look forward to doing a similar presentation with Mr. Ori in the future. If you are a teacher interested in doing a presentation like this, please Contact Us.
You can find Buttercrunch on the Brittles page of our Candies section.
